Episode 123: Love Us Like You Do Our Culture

Rest In Peace George Floyd and Breonna Taylor.

The total sum parts of the human body is beautifully designed and created. However, under great stress it too can behave in a way different from its design, creation, and intent as a consequence of reaction. Similarly, the full (or, nearly the full weight) of multiple men on the neck, torso, and legs of George Floyd, impeding the flow of oxygen to his organs caused his death. The systemic oppression, disenfranchisement, incarceration, injustice, and much more to (for all intents and purposes) Black people, has turned from love and deference to civil unrest, economic disruption, and rioting and protesting out of frustration.

What is expected of one that is damned if they do and damned if they don’t? Now the more important question, (for starters) why are they damned under a democratic (i.e., for the PEOPLE by the PEOPLE) government which has afforded them the same rights and privileges as every other citizen, in which they are as well?

While you ponder on that, this episode focuses on the murder of George Floyd and the some of the aftermath. Check it out.
